Friday the 13th, but the day went without any problems. Except I had again a problem finding an accommodation. Today the problem was not finding an accommodation that still had rooms available, but finding a place at a reasonable price. The closer to Seattle I get, the more expensive the accommodations seem to become. After checking the options for the next two days, until I arrive at the place I have booked in Seattle, I could tell that it would be hard to find a hotel/motel on such short notice. So I went ahead and booked a place on AirBnB for the next two days. Since I'm a day ahead of schedule I thought I make the best of it and booked a cottage at a lake. So I can relax a bit on a lake before I will spent the next 10 days in Seattle. And the cottage was still cheaper than any hotel/motel I was able to find.

The ride today was pretty uneventful and a lot easier than yesterdays route. I couldn't have handled another 100 mile day. After yesterday, it took me a while to get it going, but after the first miles I got in the groove. The route was not as beautiful as the last few days, it was a lot more residential, but it was still not a bad ride. For a few miles the route went through the Capitol State Forest, which was really beautiful. There was not as much up and down as the last few days, so the ride was a bit more relaxing. The next days to Seattle, will be even shorter and easier.

Conclusion for the day:

As much as I enjoy my trip, I'm ready for a break from cycling.
