After
I finished my coast to coast bicycle tour along the Northern Tier
route yesterday, I thought it would be nice to take a day off from
cycling. I used the day to let it sink in, that I actually made it
across the USA. I also had to plan how to spend the next 9 days
before I will finally finish my tour in Seattle. While planning the
tour across the country I thought it would take me a lot longer to
get here, so I didn't plan anything after I reached Anacortes. My
flight back to Germany is at the end of July, so this gives me enough
time to do some more cycling and still leaves me with 10 days in
Seattle. I already booked my accommodation for Seattle a few weeks
ago, so I have a fixed day when I have to be there. As a destination
for the additional miles on my trip, I decided on the Olympic
Peninsula. A few people told me that the Olympic Peninsula is really
beautiful and if I have the time on my trip I should go there. So I
planned a route for nine days around the Olympic Peninsula. I planned
the route, so that I have in general pretty short and relaxing days
on the bike. Of course I didn't just do route planning, I also walked
around Anacortes a bit. Like on most of my rest days the weather was
not that great, so I decided I make the best of it and go to the
movie theater to watch the new Jurassic World movie. All in all a
nice relaxing day and I'm ready to get back on the bike tomorrow.
Conclusion
for the day:
I
really like these small town movie Theaters.
